Our business was founded by Managing Director Richard Spira, whose family has been a major operator in the international natural casings market for more than a century. With a team of 50 staff, Richard, supported by Co-Director Benny Jacobs, who has about 40 years in the casing industry, runs one of Australia’s largest casing companies with worldwide standards for selecting, tubing, and distributing natural casings.
Our head office and export-registered factory/warehouse is located in Marrickville, NSW, with additional facilities across NSW, QLD, SA, and VIC. We also have long-standing relationships and an extensive network of casing purveyors around the globe, meaning we can source the exact products you need and put them through the same stringent Quality Assurance processes.
As an INSCA member and one of Australia’s leading suppliers of all-natural sausage casings, we hold ourselves to the highest Quality Assurance protocols. Our processing facilities and selecting factories all pass inspections and achieve accreditation from Australian and international bodies — including AQIS, Ausmeat, and USDA
For full traceability, regulatory compliance and adherence to Australia’s food safety standards, all domestically sourced natural sausage casings undergo a strict specification check and are assigned a batch number under our QA HACCP certification.
